HISTORY / HOW ALL BEGAN
When Harley-Davidson Europe decided to establish a subsidiary in Switzerland - Harley-Davidson Switzerland GmbH - the world of events in Switzerland also made a major step forward. In the summer of 2004, Harley-Davidson Switzerland was the initiator and organizer of the 1st Swiss National HOG Rally in Mogelsberg.
Since then, the event has taken place every year. It is planned and organized by Harley-Davidson Switzerland and produced and developed in collaboration with various business partners. It is a part of a cultural event for charity and also an official Harley-Davidson® and H.O.G.® "Lifestyle & Fun" event. The target group of the event is the riders of Harley-Davidson ® motorcycles, but all other riders, friends and enthusiasts are welcome as well as area residents and tourists.
In 2008, we welcomed over 25,000 visitors to the 5th Swiss National H.O.G. ® Rally in Brunnen, on the shores of Lake Lucerne. The concerts with national and international artists on stage, the presence of 15 official Harley-Davidson and Buell dealers from Switzerland and more than 30 other trade stands offering merchandise for sale around the theme Harley-Davidson, a food court and more, made that event a huge success attracting visitors of all ages. It is one that will remain etched in our memories.
Building on the success of previous years and with a similar but improved program, the 2009 event shifts into high gear. The change in name from
